Nature’s Universal Language-video text

If you want to communicate with nature, the very least you can do is to accept the idea that she is alive and intelligent. Most human beings behave as though nature were dead, and the result is that their own inner life vibrates less powerfully and with less intensity and their God-given faculties of perception and sensation are gradually paralysed. ‘What is the point’, they ask, ‘of trying to communicate with rocks, plants or the sun? They’re not alive.’ With this attitude they dull the edge of their own faculties and put themselves in a straight-jacket of their own making. He who believes that nature is alive and intelligent, on the other hand, makes an effort not only to understand her language but, also, to find new means of expression that allow him to communicate with her.

Video Text

If you want to communicate with nature, you must accept she is alive and intelligent. Most people behave as though nature were dead, and so their own inner life vibrates less powerfully, with less intensity. Their spiritual faculties of perception and sensation are gradually paralysed. But if you believe that nature is alive and intelligent you will naturally make the effort to understand her language. You will find new ways to communicate with her….

There is a direct link between what goes on in nature and what happens within you. If you really knew how to watch the sun as it rises, you would feel all those pure and  luminous forces spring into action as the first rays appear, Then you would understand  why you should work with these forces – so that your consciousness will also awaken and be filled with light.

Whenever an enlightened person opens their door in the morning, before doing anything else, they greet nature: the trees, the sky, and the sun, the day itself and the whole of creation. They send their love to all. They know that the divine Life that fills the universe can be found everywhere: in the earth, in plants, in water, in air, in fire, in our own bodies, in the sun and stars, everywhere. That is how they put themselves in direct contact with the source of  universal Life. Yes, for nature responds to their greeting…

How often have I gone out into my garden in the morning and greeted the invisible conscious presences that inhabit nature. I send greetings to the trees, the rocks, and the wind, too. Try it yourself and you will feel that something inside you slips into place and becomes more harmonious. Many elements of obscurity or misunderstanding fade from you, simply because you have decided to salute living nature and the creatures that dwell within it.

Yes, Cosmic Intelligence has given to every living thing all kinds of means to express themselves, to communicate their thoughts and feelings. Even if we receive no obvious response, our words always have a subtle effect on everything around us, on trees, on light and on every living creature.

Everything that lives on earth has its own unique language; everything in the universe, the universe itself, expresses itself. Not everyone understands this language, of course …it is up to us to develop our subtle organs of perception.  So that we can understand the various ways nature communicates. Some rare people already have this gift. They can communicate with animals.  It’s true not everybody can interpret the language of animals, of flowers, trees or birds.  But we can all express our thoughts and feelings to living creatures, to all of nature; everybody can do as I do and speak to rocks, lakes, rivers and mountains.

I constantly talk to everything in nature, without worrying about whether I have been heard or not. For the only reality is what we ourselves create with our thoughts and feelings, our desires, our words and our gestures. That is why we must continuously act, continuously create; making sure, of course, that everything we create is beneficial and luminous.

So, change your attitude towards the sun, the stars, towards the mountains and flowers and, above all, realize that nature is intelligent. Turn to nature as a living, intelligent reality and address her with respect. Learn to care for and protect all living things.

This is how you develop a profoundly constructive, universal spirit. Nature will then speak to you;  and you will begin to understand her. Gradually she will reveal her secrets.
