You think it is not possible to bring light and peace to all the people on earth, as there are so many of them! Of course, if you look at it like that, you’re right. But when you know certain methods, it becomes possible.
Try, for example, to imagine humanity as a single being. Yes, imagine the whole world as a being, next to you, and you are holding their hand and sending them lots of love. The tiny particles that spread out from your soul at that moment move off in all directions in space and spread to all human beings, inspiring in them the most generous and brotherly thoughts and feelings. In this way, what you are doing for this being you are imagining has an effect on men and women all over the world. If there were hundreds, thousands, of us doing this exercise, a new breath, a divine breath, would pass through all creatures, and one day they too would feel inspired by an ideal of light and peace.

If there were thousands of us all over the world doing this….?
On a different occasion, the master also said that whenever we set aside time for prayer, for meditation or other mental work, we could mentally link ourselves to all the other men and women throughout the world who are connecting to the divine world at the same time. It’s encouraging to remember that all over the planet, at any given moment, there are people praying for peace and a better world based on love and brotherhood. We can also mentally link our own efforts to that of the initiates and great masters.
Personally, I believe in the power of thought, imagination and prayer. Although the results are not visible, they are there in the invisible, but a large number of participants is crucial – it is necessary to ‘vote’ for peace through the power of our thoughts and feelings.Let’s face it, there are plenty of people ‘voting’ for the opposite at the present time!
There are simple exercises, such as the one I just posted, that don’t take up much time (it is intensity which counts anyway) but it’s a question of committing to regular practice. Life sometimes gets in the way- but I personally find before or after the evening meal works best for me. Having uplifting music playing at the same time also helps!
