Hands and divine magic

In whatever you do, think only of spreading beneficial influences. You can do this by means of your hands, which are among the best instruments for transmitting them. When you caress the head of someone you love, instead of seeking egotistical pleasure, concentrate on your hands and say, ‘May God bless you. May light reign in this head, and may all angels come and make their home here.’ At this moment, your love will no longer be sensual; it will be transformed into a beneficial energy and will also bring you an extraordinary sensation of joy and expansion. And when you touch the head of your child, or its small arms and legs, bless them as well, so that the angels come and make them a magnificent being.
Learn to bless everything you touch: objects, food, and other beings. This is true white magic.

Below is another extract on hands from  A New Earth- it includes some simple exercises that can easily be done every day- SJJ

Try to educate your hands and learn how to use them in ways that will help yourself and others. There are all kinds of exercises you can do for this purpose:

• With the palm of your right hand, stroke the back of your left hand very, very gently, barely touching it.
• With the tips of the first three fingers of your right hand, stroke each finger of your left hand, beginning with the thumb.
• Hold your right hand open in front of you, concentrate on the centre of your palm for a moment and then, very slowly, close your fingers to form a fist, all the while concentrating on the movements of the fingers. Keep your fist closed for a moment while you concentrate all your strength in it and then, very gradually, open your fingers again. Do this exercise with great attention, once a day. Once is enough; you will not become  any stronger by doing it twenty time in a row. But do it properly every day.

It is not necessary to perform difficult or spectacular exercises. The secret of true power lies in little things.

Our fingers are antennae; each one receives and transmits currents or waves of a particular nature. Initiates know how to use their fingers to tune in to the currents that flow through space, and, in this way, they are able to purify and heal not only themselves but other people as well.

But hands pick up all kinds of impurities very easily, so it is important to wash them frequently if they are to function properly as antennae. However, the physical water with which yon wash your physical hands cannot really do this adequately; you have to use spiritual water. As often as you can think of it, imagine a stream of spiritual water, a torrent of light and pure colour, pouring over your hands, and then hold them under it for as long as possible.
